1. Is 12mm marine plywood fully waterproof?
It uses waterproof adhesive and durable veneers for excellent moisture resistance; however, it isn’t completely waterproof. Seal all edges and surfaces for best results.
2. Can I paint or varnish it?
Yes. Lightly sand, then apply suitable marine paint, varnish or sealer. Always seal edges first.
3. What tools work best?
Standard woodworking tools perform well. Use sharp blades, support the cut and pre-drill for screws to prevent breakout.
4. Is this suitable for exterior exposure?
Yes—when correctly sealed and maintained. For prolonged standing water or continuous immersion, follow marine finishing best practices.
5. Do you offer full boards as well?
Absolutely. Order Marine Plywood – Full Board if you don’t require custom cutting.
