The 8mm Flexible Plywood Full Board gives you the freedom to create flowing curves with a smooth, consistent finish. Designed to bend easily along one axis, this lightweight sheet is ideal for rounded counters, wall panels, furniture wraps, displays and other interior features where shape matters as much as strength. Because it arrives as a full-size board, you get maximum coverage and fewer joints on site.
- 8mm thickness – a sweet spot that balances flexibility with dependable strength.
- Single-direction bend – forms clean, repeatable curves when fixed over a frame or former.
- Smooth hardwood face – ready for paint, laminate, veneer or fabric finishes.
- Clean, workable core – cuts and sands neatly with standard tools; ideal for templates and CNC.
- Time-saving format – full board size for efficient coverage and layout.
Create curved reception desks, display plinths, column wraps, feature walls, retail gondolas, furniture carcass wraps, stage/film sets, decorative ceiling rafts and other interior elements. For tighter radii, laminate multiple layers of 8mm Flexible Plywood Full Board over a former. For humid areas, use an appropriate moisture-resistant finish and follow manufacturer guidance.
Firstly, bend the sheet in its designed grain direction (the easy-bend axis). Test the radius before final fixing.
Next, build a smooth frame or former; then glue and staple or screw through to the structure at close centres for a ripple-free surface.
Additionally, stagger joints when laminating layers to increase stiffness after curing.
After shaping, sand lightly and apply primer, paint, laminate or veneer. Always seal exposed edges in service.

1. Which way does the board bend?
It bends along one axis (the easy-bend direction). Check the product images/details and test a corner to confirm the bend direction before fixing.
2. What minimum radius can I achieve?
Radius depends on the facing, method and number of layers. Many projects achieve tight curves by laminating two or more 8mm layers over a former.
3. Can I use it for external work?
This board is intended for interior applications. If exposure or humidity is expected, use suitable moisture-resistant grades and seal all faces and edges thoroughly.
4. How do I finish the surface?
Prime and paint, or apply laminate/veneer. Sand lightly, remove dust and use the adhesive/finish recommended by your supplier.
5. Does it hold screws well?
Yes—when fixed into a solid frame or former at close centres. Adhesive plus staples or screws gives the best, ripple-free results.
6. Do you deliver full boards?
Yes. We offer quick delivery and collection options—see Delivery & Collection for details.
