1. Is flame retardant plywood fireproof?
No. It reduces flame spread and smoke, but it doesn’t make timber fireproof. Use it as part of a compliant system.

Yes. Lightly sand, then apply paint, laminate or veneer. Seal edges when you finish.
3. Is it suitable outdoors?
It’s designed for interior environments. For exterior or high-moisture use, select a suitable exterior/marine panel and check fire requirements.
