1. What is veneered plywood?
It’s a stable plywood core pressed with a thin real-wood veneer on the face (and usually the back), giving the look of solid timber with less weight and cost.
2. Is 4mm thick enough for doors or shelves?
4mm is best as a decorative skin or panel. For doors or shelving, use a thicker substrate and apply 4mm veneered ply as a facing.
3. Can I finish it with oil or varnish?
Yes. Stain, oil, lacquer or varnish works well. Always test on an off-cut and seal all edges for best results.
4. Do you supply cut-to-size pieces?
Yes—order decorative veneered plywood cut to size now.
5. How do I hide the edges?
Use matching plywood edgings.
