12mm Birch Plywood Full Board provides the ideal balance of strength, stability and a clean decorative surface. Multi-ply birch veneers deliver excellent screw-holding and a crisp edge that finishes beautifully, making this sheet a favourite for cabinetry, shelving, van conversions, interior joinery and quality DIY projects.
Premium birch faces arrive sanded and ready for paint, lacquer, laminate or veneer. The full board size gives efficient coverage with fewer joints, while the stable core helps resist warping and keeps cuts clean on both CNC and handheld tools.
Tolerance note: plywood thickness can vary slightly from the nominal 12mm. If a tight rebate or groove fit is critical, measure before final assembly.
- High-grade birch faces for a smooth, even finish.
- Stable multi-ply core that stays flat and machines cleanly.
- Easy to work with fine-tooth blades or CNC; sands to a sharp edge.
- Reliable strength-to-weight ratio for furniture and fit-outs.
- Great value for professional results across trade and DIY.
Cabinet carcasses and shelves, van and camper interiors, wardrobes, drawer components, wall and ceiling panelling, display units, templates, and general interior joinery. For prolonged humidity or exterior exposure, select a moisture-resistant/exterior-rated grade and seal all cut edges.
Cut with sharp blades and back up the cut to minimise tear-out. Pre-sand, then apply paint, stain, oil, laminate, or veneer. Bond with quality PVA/PU/contact adhesives; fix with pins or small screws into suitable framing. Seal edges where moisture may be present and follow current guidance for ventilation and load-bearing.

Compare with 6mm and 18mm Birch Plywood Full Board.
1. Is it exactly 12mm plywood thick?
Plywood is manufactured to a nominal thickness. Expect a small tolerance around 12mm—measure if a precise groove or rebate fit is required.
2. Can I paint or veneer it?
Yes. The birch face takes paint, lacquer, stain, laminates, and veneers very well. Lightly sand and clean before finishing.
3. Is 12mm suitable for shelves?
Yes, for short spans or when supported on three sides. For wider spans or heavy loads, add edging/front lipping or choose a thicker board.
4. Can I use it in kitchens or bathrooms?
Use in dry interiors. For humid zones, pick a moisture-resistant/exterior-rated birch ply and seal every cut edge.
5. Do you deliver full boards?
Yes, order online and check Delivery & Collection for lead times and charges.
