Our 1.5mm Birch Plywood Cut to Size is the thinnest birch sheet we offer. Lightweight, flexible, and clean-faced, it’s the go-to choice for scale models, marquetry, craft kits, stencils, signage, and laser-cut panels. We precision-cut every order to your measurements, so parts arrive ready to assemble—no trimming required.
Note: very thin birch ply is sometimes sold as “1.5mm” nominal with an actual thickness typically in the ~1.2–1.6 mm range. If a tight fit matters, measure with callipers before assembly.

1. Will this hold paint and adhesives?
Yes. The smooth birch faces take paints, stains, lacquers, and common wood adhesives very well. Lightly sand and de-dust first.
2. Is it suitable for laser cutting?
Absolutely. 1mm birch ply is a favourite for laser and scroll-saw work. Keep settings tuned for minimal char and consider masking tape to protect surfaces.
3. How flexible is it?
It bends easily along the grain and can be laminated in layers to create stronger curved parts. For tight radii, form the curve gradually and glue in place.
4. What sizes can you cut?
We cut to your exact measurements from full birch plywood sheets. Add your parts individually or send a cut list for nesting advice.
5. Is this okay for outdoor use?
This thickness is intended for interior projects. For humid or exterior conditions, choose a moisture-resistant/exterior grade and seal all faces and edges.
